2025 Generosity

Welcome to the Generosity Team for 2025! Our purpose and focus is to help accelerate the vision God has given our church by helping to fund it. Fostering generosity in the realm of finances, in our volunteered time, in our service, and in our work is what we strive for.

"In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well...  If your gift giving, give generously."  Romans 12:6,8

We want to exercise and grow our Romans 12:8 spiritual gift of giving. This is one way of connecting us to kingdom purpose, and to strategically accelerate the vision God has given our church.

We will also stir up in others and encourage generosity and faithful, Spirit-led generous giving in the church.

Two of the activities we are planning for the year include:

1. Book study group (optional) on "Leverage, using temporal wealth for eternal gain" by Ken Boa and Russ Crosson. David Hogan and I will be leading this study group. This group will be very helpful and encouraging for both young and old, and will help us develop and enforce the proper biblical understanding of using our wealth for His glory and purpose. Not only will it strengthen your biblical understanding of giving, but there are extremely practical parts that will help people of all ages and financial backgrounds.

2. Proposed Fall Capital Campaign- This is still in the planning stages, but we anticipate our Generosity Team will play a role in both encouraging the congregation and actively participating in this event.
